Man left with broken jaw after nighttime assault in Thetford

Detectives from Thetford CID are appealing for witnesses to an assault which took place in the town at the weekend.

Between 1.30am and 1.45am on Saturday December 20, a man in his early 20s was walking along King Street when two men approached him.

One of the men knocked food from the victim’s hand and then punched him in the face several times, breaking his jaw.
