Man indecently assaulted on Christmas morning in Bury

Police today revealed that a man was ‘inappropriately touched’ as he walked home on Christmas morning.

Suffolk Police say the man was walking along Home Farm Lane, Bury St Edmunds, towards Mayfield Road at around 1am on Wednesday.

As he passed a bus shelter near to the junction with Heron Road the victim was approached by another man who began to touch the victim two or three times in the groin area.

The victim told the man to stop and then left the area.

The offender is described as white, aged around 50-years-old and wearing a light coloured jacket.
