Man arrested over arson attack at Bury St Edmunds school is rebailed

A 20-year-old man arrested in connection with an arson attack at St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School has been rebailed.

The man, from Bury, was arrested on suspicion of arson on September 22 and was bailed until October 13. He has since been rebailed until November 20.

The incident at the school, in Westgate Street, on June 16 destroyed an outdoor classroom.
