A 37-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in connection with a £30 million cocaine seizure - the biggest in Suffolk’s history.

The man, from Ipswich, was arrested today on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and possession of a controlled drug.

Around £30 million of cocaine was seized by police last October from an industrial unit in Highbury Road, Brandon.

The man was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where he awaits questioning.

Two other men have been charged in connection with the haul.

Terrance Smith, 56, of Ethelreda Drive in Thetford and Frederick Colverson, 57, of Galsworthy Avenue, London were both charged with conspiring together and with other persons to supply cocaine.
