Man admits arson attack on Bury St Edmunds school

A 20-year-old man has admitted carrying out an arson attack on a Bury St Edmunds school which caused £27,000 worth of damage.

Dylan James Brooks, of Tayfen Road, Bury, destroyed outbuildings at St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School, in Westgate Street, on June 16, 2015.

He pleaded guilty to the offence at Bury Magistrates’ Court this afternoon and will be sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court at a later date.
