Bury St Edmunds bar and nightclub LP is donating £2 to the charity Gatehouse every time a customer buys the ‘Buddy Holly’ pizza from their menu.

Gatehouse provides social support for dementia sufferers and runs a foodbank. The charity is close to the heart of club owner, Mike Garling, who said: “A good friend of mine has a parent who has had dementia from a relatively early age and it’s a brutal condition when you have to watch a loved one regress.” Mr Garling said it is important to ‘support those that are most vulnerable in society’.
