Lorry hit by object on A14 at Beyton

Police are appealing for information after a lorry was hit by an object on the A14 at Beyton yesterday (December 29).

A man was driving a lorry along the A14 at around 6.30pm when he passed underneath a bridge and an unknown object hit his windscreen, causing it to smash.

Police believe someone may have thrown the object.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time is asked to call police on 101 quoting ST/14/3508 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
