Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Thetford on Friday, February 6.

Shortly after 5pm a lorry collided with a wall in Caxton Way Industrial Estate, before the driver left the scene without leaving any details. The damage to the wall was at a cost of around £3,000.

Officers are asking local fleet operators to contact them if they have noticed any damage to the rear doors of one of their vehicles, as it is suspected the vehicle may have been driven by a courier on behalf of a delivery company.

Anyone else who may have witnessed the incident or may be able to help police identify the vehicle should contact Pc Tom Joyce at Thetford Police Station on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
