With the economy well on the road to recovery, it’s time to recognise the very best in West Suffolk business with the launch of the Bury Free Press Business Awards 2015.
Now in its fourth year, the awards recognise the diverse business and entrepreneurial talent the area has to offer and gives you a chance to highlight what is great about the business you own, work for or love.
The categories include apprentice/trainee of the year, contribution to the community, employee of the year, and customer care award.
There are also accolades for independent retailer, best new start-up, green/environmental award, The West Suffolk Award for International Trade, business person of the year and business of the year.
The awards will culminate in a glittering ceremony at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds on Friday, October 9.
It will be presented by famed army veteran Simon Weston, whose recovery from severe burns suffered during the Falklands War has been the subject of five major TV documentaries.
The awards are the culmination of the 2015 Business Festival.
Launching the awards, Bury Free Press editor Paul Richardson said “With the economy turning a corner, I’m delighted we are able to recognise the shining examples of business talent in West Suffolk. We chronicle success stories in the area every week in our business pages and now it’s time to reward that expertise and talent.”
