Police information appeal after lambs stolen from Rougham field

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after lambs were stolen in Rougham.

Six lambs have been stolen from a field off Moat Lane sometime overnight between last Wednesday and Thursday.

The lambs had been weaned but had not been tagged. The owner has been distressed by the loss of the animals, which has also damaged her livelihood.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who might have seen a suspicious vehicle or person in the area during the time above.

Police are urging other livestock farmers to remain vigilant at this time and to call officers if they have concerns. If a crime is in progress, always call 999.
