Kids’ Mini Festival at Blackthorpe Barn for pre-Christmas fun

If you are sick of the children asking ‘is it Christmas yet’ Blackthorpe Barn may have the answer this weeked with its Kids’ Mini Festival.

While the adults seek out presents and decorations at the Rougham barn’s annual Christmas shop, there will be magic shows, storytelling, family collages, a treasure hunt and an ice cream bonanza for the youngsters.

Magic, illusion and intrigue will be provided by award-winning children’s entertainer Gemma Raymond, from Stradishall, at 11.30am and 2.30pm and tickets are available in the Christmas Shop.

Hatty Ashton will be telling the amazing story ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’, at 10.45m, 12pm, 1.45pm and 3.45pm each day for free.

There is also a treasure hunt around the Barnamd a special ice cream factory in the Little House of Cooking Café at the Barn.

On Sunday there will be face painting and balloon twisting for all to enjoy.

Blackthorpe Barn is on the outskirts of Rougham, off the A14 at junction 45 (Sat Nav. IP30 9HZ).
