Thetford trio Pink Lemonade make final of BurySOUND2020
The final five have been selected for BurySOUND2020, which comes to an exciting conclusion at The Apex on Friday, March 20.
The best of upcoming talent has been shown off over the past month over five heats held in the Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds and the Haverhill Arts Centre.
Pink Lemonade last week became the final heat winner and have added their name to the final bill alongside The Daze, Leon O'Leary, Fleas and Far From Refuge.
Last year's winner Gabby Rivers will also play.
"Once again, every artist who played was outstanding," said organiser Seymour Quigley, who said this year's final line-up is one of most exciting in the competition's 22-year history.
Tickets, costing £5, are on sale now from theapex.co.uk or on the door, which opens at 6pm.
The story so far...
The final name on the final line-up is a trio of pink ladies from Thetford who specialise in pop punk.
Pink Lemonade formed as students in 2018 at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge when sisters Frankie and Maddie Soan met Rhiannon Harris. It did not take long for them to release their first single Space Girl, released towards the end of 2018, which they followed up with Sugar N Spice.
After airtime from Cambridge 105, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, they have continued to play the local circuit - and have played The Hunter Club before when they performed at Bury Fringe.
Their performance at BurySOUND was their second entry into the competition - although this time they managed to make the final as judges selected them above Brazen Bull, Flizz and Matt Reaction.
