Jubilee Players take to the stage with Dick Whittington

Onehouse, Harleston and Shelland Jubilee players are bringing Dick Whittington to life in their 38th annual pantomime next week.

The 26-strong cast take to the stage from Wednesday, February 18, to Saturday, February 21 at Onehouse Community Centre on Forest Road. The group formed in 1977 on the day of the Queen’s silver jubilee and have put on a panto every year since.

Onehouse Parish Chairman Ron Raisey, who plays Chief villain Red Whiskers, said there was plenty on offer for all the family

He said: “You can expect a fun-filled pantomime with lots of audience participation.

“We have superb costumes, all handmade by our costume ladies Kate and Jean, and brilliant scenery created by our stage crew.

Tickets to the show are £7 for adults, £3 for children and are available by calling 01449 736025. Performances start at 7.30pm.
