Gold rings, bracelets and watches were among items of jewellery taken during a burglary in Thetford last weekend.

Twelve gold rings, four bracelets (gold and silver) and two gold watches were stolen from a property in Redgate some time between 11.30pm on Saturday and 4.30am yesterday.

Intruders entered the house through an insecure window.

One of the gold bracelets was distinctive - a chunky gold bangle with a large round blue stone set in a square in the middle.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have been offered items of jewellery for sale.

Witnesses should contact Det Con Gill Lacey at Thetford CID on 101 or Crimestopprs, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
