Police are appealing for witnesses after a property was burgled in Ixworth over the Christmas period.

The house in Plummer Close was broken into between midday on Christmas Eve and 12.15pm on Monday December 29.

The intruder(s) forced entry through the rear gate, damaged security gates and smashed the rear patio doors to gain entrance. It is believed jewellery was stolen during the break-in.

Police would like anyone with information to contact Det Con Andrew George on 101 quoting BR/14/972. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
