Jack Bruce and The Big Blues Band are among the final top line up for this year’s Abbey Fest in the Abbey Gardens in July.
Bruce, who penned some of Cream’s best known hits such as I Feel Free and Sunshine of Your Love, also played with Alexis Korner and Manfred Mann.
He formed The Big Blues Band in 2011 and enjoyed a sell-out tour of the UK. He has been touring major summer festivals and is touring the UK this year.
Joining him on the final night of the three-day music festival are Steve Hackett and his band and Paul Carrack and his band.
Hackett was lead guitarist with Genesis before embarking a solo career and has been applauded for his classical guitar work. In 2010 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in New York and brings his six-piece band to the Abbey Gardens on July 22.
Paul Carrack is a singer, songwriter and keyboard player who has worked with Roxy Music and Mike and the Mechanics and has released two singles with an album due out in August.
