Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a comet!

The Comet Neowise was flying over Suffolk last week, and some readers managed to get a snap.

The 'long period' comet is travelling at such a speed that it could be seen most evenings.

George Cameron-Laker, 17, of Elmswell, managed to get the below shot from his garden last Monday.

Robert Robertson, 65, of Bury St Edmunds, took the below photo of the comet at 12.22am last Thursday morning from his upstairs window.

He said he waited until that time to get the shot as the light pollution was obscuring the view before then.

Robert's mother died when he was only in his teens, and he took up photography in his words to 'direct my mind on something else.'
