Inquest opens into death of West Suffolk College student John Walsh after fatal A14 crash

An inquest has been formally opened into the death of a Onehouse teenager in a crash on the A14.

West Suffolk College student John Walsh died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge after suffering severe head injuries in the incident near Rougham on May 27.

Mr Walsh, 18, of Ash Road, Onehouse died as a result of traumatic brain injury, said assistant Suffolk Coroner Dr Daniel Sharpstone today.

Dr Sharpstone adjourned the hearing at Bury St Edmunds to allow further inquiries to be made.
