Inquest opens into death of motorcyclist father-of-two

An inquest has opened into the death of a father-of-two who died in a collision on the A1101 at Lackford.

David Lister, 47, of Henley Way, Ely, had been riding a motorcycle when it was involved in a collision with a car on May 30.

Today (Monday) an inquest was formally opened at Bury St Edmunds by Assistant Suffolk Coroner Dr Daniel Sharpstone.

The hearing was told that Mr Lister had died from multiple injuries resulting from a road accident.

Dr Sharpstone adjourned the inquest to alow further enquiries to be made.
