Inquest opens into death of man at Barton Mills

An inquest has opened into the death of a man at Barton Mills.

Bruce Robert Adams, 56, of Barton Mills, was identified by means of DNA analysis following his death on June 7.

The hearing at Bury St Edmunds today heard that a post-mortem examination initially gave Mr Adams’ cause of death as unascertained but was amended to alcohol intoxication and blood clot in lung.

Assistant coroner Dr Dan Sharpstone adjourned the inquest to allow for further inquiries.
