Inquest opened into death of teacher Matthew Jack after collision in Creeting St Mary

An inquest has been formally opened into the death of a cyclist at Creeting St Mary.

Matthew Jack, 48, was involved in a collision with a Landrover on the B1078 Coddenham

Road at the junction with Flordon Road on April 19.

Mr Jack, of Stowupland, who was a teacher at Claydon High School, was declared

dead at the scene.

Today ( Friday) at Suffolk Coroner's Court in Ipswich, Senior Coroner Nigel Parsley, opened the inquest and then adjourned the hearing until October to allow for the completion of enquiries.
