A light and buzzer circuit made from a chocolate box tin and gummy bear osmosis were among the experiments showcased during a school science week.

Pupils at Barrow School were tasked with conducting experiments at home and displayed the results during a fayre which was part of a series of activities.

David Barrett, Year 3 teacher and science co-ordinator, organised interactive assemblies, demonstrations and trips. Barrow is part of the Bury All-Through Trust and was supported by staff and students from County Upper School. Mr Barrett praised the ‘fantastic support and effort from parents’.
