Hundreds of sewing machines have been stolen from a lorry in Bury St Edmunds.

About 500 sewing machines were stolen from an articulated lorry parked on the A14 westbound, one mile before the A142 junction, between 9pm on January 27 and 6am on January 28.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact Bury Police on 101 quoting crime reference 37/14572/16 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
