House fire in Mildenhall

Firefighters were called to a house fire in Mildenhall yesterday.

Crews from Mildenhall and Newmarket attended the incident in Trinity Avenue at around 2.30pm.

They arrived to find a kitchen ‘well alight’ and used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

Both crews were back at base by 3.40pm.
