Horringer man died in A505 crash

A man from Horringer died in a collision on the A505 in Cambridgeshire on Friday.

Michael Stiff, 70, was driving a white Audi A1 on the A505 at Thriplow when it was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Insignia at about 12.40pm.

Mr Stiff was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Vauxhall suffered serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Cambridgeshire Road Policing Unit on 101.
