Three residents of Stowlangtoft Hall Nursing Home have celebrated their 100th birthdays in the past month – two within two days of each other.

The three, from the left, Jean Curr, Kathleen Fraser-Harrison and Marguerite Seal had their families around them on their special days and were able to show off their telegrams from the Queen.

Jean moved to London from Northern Ireland with a large number of siblings. Kath came from rural Wales to open a well known dress shop in Liverpool and retired to Suffolk to be near family. Marguerite grew up in London and moved to Suffolk late in life, bringing up two children.

Home manager Sally Chilvers said: It has been wonderful to host parties for each of these ladies.”
