RESIDENTS at a care home are showing you are never too old to enjoy the festive season as they light up the neighbourhood.
A traditional Christmas celebration is in store for residents at Cedar Lodge in Culford after it was festooned with a spread of lights and decorations.
Caroline Flewitt, manager, said the home’s 23 residents loved their ‘big family’ Christmas day. “We make it very homely here and everyone gets involved. Care homes have got some bad publicity recently but our residents are very well looked after and they have a lovely time here,” she said.
On the inside, the house has been adorned with five Christmas trees, while outside the main draw is a giant Santa – in a helicopter.
