Paws in the Park poster competition: Still time to nominate your cute canine

More than 540 dogs have dipped their paw into the ring to front St Nicholas Hospice Care’s family dog show - and there is still a week left to enter.

The Bury Free Press has joined forces with the charity to find a cute canine with star quality to feature on posters, banners, programmes and marketing materials for Paws in the Park.

Dog owners have until Friday, February 28 at 9am to join the competition.

Lizzie Cross, hospice events and challenges fund-raiser, said: “From pint-sized pooches to cuddly canines we have had it all and we are really excited to see even more photogenic pets.”

All pictures will be judged by a panel to find the 10 cutest canines to be published in the paper for readers to pick a winner.

Paws in the Park is on May 17 at Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds.
