Help St Edmundsbury Cathedral reach LEGO target

St Edmundsbury Cathedral hopes to reach their major milestone of reaching 10,000 LEGO bricks during half-term week.

The #10KLEGOChallenge project to build a LEGO model of Bury St Edmunds’ most iconic building was launched in May this year.

So far more than 9,500 LEGO bricks have been laid and by donating from as little as £1 per LEGO brick, you’ll be helping the Cathedral reach its target to raise £200,000 to fund an essential Youth Outreach Project.

One lucky visitor who places a brick during the week will win a limited edition mini LEGO® set of the cathedral while those taking part in the Treasure Hunt will also have a chance to win one of the sets.

Cathedral administrator and director of commerce Tony Kimber said: “Everyone’s welcome, no matter what faith, if any.”

Limited edition small and large sets will be available in the Cathedral shop and online at stedscathedral.co.uk/lego
