THREE people in Suffolk die every day as the result of smoking.
Now help experts are launching a drive to find 1,000 smokers and help them kick the habit.
It is being run by Live Well Suffolk and aims to offers smokers a free programme of individual support delivered by stop smoking experts, with a choice of group or one-to-one therapy throughout the county.
Daniel Chapelle, NHS Sufffolk’s health improvement manager, said: “This campaign is so important as every day in Suffolk, smoking causes three deaths.
“Tobacco remains our leading cause of early death and disabilities like lung and heart disease and cancers.”
