The Pop-Up Gym, in partnership with St Edmundsbury Borough Council, hosted a self-care stand to promote health and wellbeing in the community.

The team offered health and fitness assessments, free of charge or in return for donations to charity, while visitors could pedal on a spinning bike to earn a wristband giving discounts and promotions at health-conscious shops and market stalls.

Councillor Robert Everitt, cabinet member for families and communities, said: “It makes sense for our market traders to be involved in helping to promote a healthier lifestyle.”
