Proud Harley Davidson owners revved up for an Upbeat exercise class when they rode in to hand over a cheque to the charity.

Members of the Fenland Chapter of the Harley Owners Group rode their gleaming bikes to the session of the heart care group at Newbury Centre, in Bury St Edmunds.

They presented a cheque for £239 to the charity which is a self-funded organisation in the Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury area which organises exercise sessions and social and education events for 800 members who are heart-care patients and their carers.

Derek Lawless, a member of the chapter who lives in Bury and has a heart condition himself, handed over the cheque to Upbeat chairman Jill Brooks. With him were other Fenland members, Stuart Thompson, Fiona Thompson, Steve Wheeler and Elaine Lawless.
