ABBOT’S Hall at the Museum of East Anglian Life is officially opening its doors to the public on June 22.

The hall has been fully restored and now houses seven permanent exhibition rooms that explore the idea of ‘home and belonging’.

The museum’s director Tony Butler said: “The opening of Abbot’s Hall is the most important event in the museum’s history since it was founded in 1967.

“The hall is now reunited with the rest of what was the Abbot’s Hall Estate.”
