Group of young girls followed by man in Stowmarket

Police are appealing for information after a group of young girls were followed in Stowmarket.

The incident happened in Kersey Close at around 3.20pm yesterday.

A 10-year-old girl noticed a man standing on the pavement and as she walked through the nearby footpath with friends, he followed them. T

The man followed them for a while but they managed to lose him.

The 10-year-old girl also reported a similar incident took place last week on Friday December 12, where a man followed her and a group of girls along the same route around a similar time.

From this incident the offender is described as a white man, of a medium build, approximately 5’8” tall, aged in his twenties, and was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black trousers and black trainers.
