THE SUN ensured a good turn out to Sunday’s South Suffolk Show, with thousands flocking to the event to experience the many activities on offer.
As well as the expected cattle, pigs, sheep and horses, there were some more unusual sights including a white-backed Griffon vulture and a bald eagle.
Events in the main ring kept visitors entertained, with spectacles ranging from a hunt display to a freestyle motorcross competition, while there was also plenty of food, drink and funfair rides to keep the whole family amused.
“Apart from the weather being fantastic, there’s masses to do,” said Karen Hodgkinson, from Thetford, who was visiting the show for the first time with husband Gordon and son Gregory.
