Graphic designer presents lecture at The Apex




Award winning graphic designer David Carson presented a lecture at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds.

The event was organised by Coastline Graphics, a local graphic design studio, based in Bury St Edmunds in collaboration with the University of Suffolk at West Suffolk College, and sponsored by Neaco and Place 21.

David signed limited edition copies of his new book, which were on sale and he ran a bespoke workshop with students from BA (Hons) Graphic and Communication Design, in what was a unique creative experience.

He also spoke about his career in a lecture to students.

James Archer, director of Coastline Graphics, said: "It went really well it was a great success. David flew over from Amsterdam he talked for about an hour and a half at the lecture. He talked about his career - current and past work. There was questions and answers and an opportunity to buy his outstanding book. There was a book signing where he met lots of the public."

David’s impressive and extensive client list includes brands such as, Audi, Bose, British Airways, Budweiser (Superbowl spot), Fox TV, Giorgio Armani, Levi’s, Mercedes Benz and Microsoft, among others.
