A Bury St Edmunds retailer offered goodie bags and entertainment to customers as it opened its doors following a complete refurbishment on Saturday.

Matalan, in Easlea Road, treated the first 100 customers on the day to a bag containing voucher and gifts, while younger customers were treated to balloons. The refurbishment has seen the expansion of the home department and a store-wide upgrade.
