A group of friends who met playing golf have got in the charity swing after raising £500 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

The Lark Valley Golf Society organise five charity golf days throughout the year at various clubs around the region and each year the captain chooses an organisation to receive the profits.

Nigel Burton, 2015 captain, said he chose the hospice because he wanted to support ‘a worthy local charity’. The friends met at Suffolk Hotel, Golf and Health Club.
