GREENE King’s annual charity ball in May will be in aid of the struggling drug and alcohol rehabilitation charity Focus12.
The Bury St Edmunds- based charity lost £130,000 when the Suffolk Drug and Alcohol Action Team withdrew funding.
Euan Venters, Greene King Brewing and Brands’ managing director, said: “It’s a charity that battles for funding, as many others do in this current economic climate, and needs continued support.”
Chip Somers, Focus12’s chief executive said: “This continued endorsement of Focus12 by one of Britain’s best known and most loved breweries is a very brave step and a real indication of Greene King’s genuine and enthusiastic commitment to their social responsibility.”
Tickets to the ball on May 10 in a marquee in the Bury brewery grounds are £45 each or £425 for a table of 10 and include three-course meal and live entertainment. They are on sale in the Green King Brewery Centre and on 01284 714297.
