Don't miss early bird prices for 10th Bury St Edmunds Girls Night Out charity walk
Women in Bury St Edmunds are being encouraged to sign up for the 10th Girls' Night Out charity walk, in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care.
More than 700 women have already signed up to take part in the event, which will see women don pyjamas and flashing bunny ears and take to the streets of Bury to walk either 11.2 or six miles.
Early bird registration is open until May 31, with all entries received before that date qualifying for a £10 ticket. All tickets after that date will cost £15.
The annual event, sponsored by investment managers JM Finn, will take place on Saturday, September 8.
Jenny Smith, the hospice’s events manager, said: “We are so excited for this year’s Girls Night Out event. This year marks our 10th walk and we would love to see as many women as possible support us on the night.
“We are so lucky that year after year we receive fantastic support from the whole community. The hospice needs to fundraise more than £11,000 a day to provide its services, which is why every single step walkers will take on the night counts.
“So please if you are thinking of signing up please don’t delay, grab your friends and family members and join us on September 8.”
Last year's Girls' Night Out raised £275,000 for the hospice.
To sign up, visit www.girlsnightoutwalk.co.uk or pick up an application form from one of the hospice’s shops.
You must be aged 14 to take part and those between 14 and 17 must walk with someone over the age of 18.
