Polstead's eerie 1827 murder in 'very haunted' county of Suffolk covered in new ghost book by Saxmundham author
William Corder was found guilty of murdering his lover Maria Marten in the barn and burying her body there.
Miss Marten's mother is said to have dreamed of the murder, which led to the discovery of the body.
Corder was captured in London, convicted, and hanged in 1828.
Mr West described Suffolk as “a very haunted county.”
