There were double celebrations at Abbots Green Primary, in Airfield Road as it relaunched its library, which features a reading tree, bean bags and a pirate ship.

The relaunch is part of the school’s ‘reading for pleasure and writing for purpose’ week with each class creating their own book to keep in the library for future years.

Parents were invited into school to share a story and hot chocolate during the week.
