Residents of Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds, are becoming increasingly frustrated by the sight of a boarded-up pub.

Greene King bought the Flying Fortress pub in Mount Road last year but says it has not yet decided what to do with it.

Mel Easterling said: “It is an eyesore and we have had squatters and travellers parked up there. It’s just such a shame that it’s left to rot like that.”

A Greene King spokeswoman said: “The site has been secured since its purchase last year. No decisions have been made in regards to the future of the site as yet and we continue to look at our options.”
