Further warnings to residents after attempted burglary in Mildenhall

Police are appealing for witnesses and reminding residents to keep their homes locked up after an attempted burglary in Mildenhall.

The incident took place between 4am and 1.30pm yesterday, March 12, at an address in Selwyn Close. During this time unsuccessful attempts were made to force open both a rear window and the rear patio doors.

This crime follows several burglaries which have taken place in Forest Heath over the past week and officers continue to urge residents to be vigilant and be on the look-out for any suspicious behaviour.

Residents are also advised to ensure that they keep their doors locked at all times and windows secure if out or overnight.
