Simon Harding and Valerie Legg from Church Walks Charities presented a cheque for £2,500 to Lark Valley Community First Responders at a training session in Fornham St Genevieve.

The money has been raised from the sale of plants and seasonal vegetables from Valerie and Simon’s home in Church Walks, Bury St Edmunds, and at car boot sales.

Community First Responders are volunteers trained by the ambulance service in first aid and resuscitation. They are fully self-funding and it is hoped this donation will help them put another fully equipped community first responder on the road.
