Bury St Edmunds comedian Kate Smurthwaite will be recreating her recent sell-out show from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for a special one-off comedy night fund-raiser.
Award-winning Kate, star of TV and radio, will be supported on October 26 by Bury actress and comedian Erica Dupuy, with Kirsty Hudson as comedy host.
The event has been organised by the Bury branch of the Fawcett Society, in aid of Suffolk Rape Crisis, and aims to raise awareness of the important work of both organisations.
It will take place at The Hunter Club, in Guildhall Street, Bury, from 7.30pm.
Eleanor Rehahn, of Bury Fawcett Society, said: “This is a fantastic ‘one night only’ stand up comedy night featuring some of the best female comedians in the UK. This is an exclusive for us and we’re thrilled to be able to present it to Bury.”
Tickets to the performance are £8 each, or £5 for concessions.
