A COMPANY which is holding free IT courses aimed at getting unemployed people into work has had to scale back its proposal due to a lack of interest.
Green Duck, a technology and training company based in Western Way, Bury St Edmunds, decided to pilot its Back To Work Scheme as part of its 10-year anniversary celebrations.
But so far only seven people have signed up to a possible 18 places and sessions which were going to take place over four days will now take place on two.
“We’re paying for it and we thought that people would be really keen with the idea but it’s just been something of a disappointment and a surprise,” said director Graham Duckworth.
Anyone still interested should contact Maureen Goffin, by Monday, on 01284 717272.
