Four men arrested after Customs and Excise investigation in Brandon

Four men have been arrested after customs and revenue officers searched properties and a business in Brandon last week.

The HM Revenue and Customs operation was part of an investigation into the alleged smuggling of three million cigarettes with an alleged duty loss of £600,000.

Three men aged 52, 24 and 34 were arrested on November 12 and a man aged 27 was arrested last Friday. All of them have been bailed until February 12.
