DRIVERS experienced delays of around 95 minutes on Tuesday following a four-car collision on the A143 at Chedburgh.
Police were called at around 4.40pm to reports of a car on its side in a ditch close to Horringer.
On arrival, they found a white Ford Transit van, a silver Mitsubishi Shogun, a green Nissan Primera and a silver Vauxhall Frontera had been involved in a collision.
Fire crews from Wickhambrook, Haverhill and a rescue vehicle from Bury St Edmunds attended, cutting the roof off the Nissan.
The A143 was blocked until around 6.15pm, with northbound and southbound traffic diverted.
The ambulance service treated an elderly woman at the scene for minor injuries.
