A charity football match and family fun day has raised £670 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

The football match saw the team’s current and veteran squad members pull on their boots in match that wasn’t short of goals.

The current team won 5–3 with the match being followed by a barbeque and karaoke, which added to the fund–raising total.

“Without fund–raisers like Howards FC, we would not be able to continue to help all of the people across west Suffolk and Thetford.

“A big thank you to all the organisers,” said George Chilvers, St Nicholas Hospice Care’s Community Fund–raiser.
